Miguel Ocampo (1922 - 2015) was an Argentinian painter. He studied Architecture, and in 1947, studied painting with renowned artist Vicente Puig. In 1948, he traveled to Europe, where he met fellow artists Georges Braque and Andre Lhote, and held his first solo exhibition in Paris, in 1950. Years later he became a Diplomat, and lived in Rome, Paris and New York, throughout these years, his abstract paintings were inspired by the Argentinean landscape.
